Another Problem - This Time Its an X-Valve

Well, you guys did such a good job advising me on my classic mag, I thought you might serve as a shortcut for fixing my X-valve as well...

I recently purchased a Tac-One with a ULT (and Level 10, of course) installed. It is brand new, and everything was tuned by AGD, but it seems to have gotten just a tad out of wack between them and me.

When I screw in the tank, the gun fires a single shot, then won't do anything after that. There is tension in the trigger (i.e. it has an air supply) and I can pull the trigger, but it doesn't cause the gun to fire.

I know that there are AGD resources online, but I'm trying to get this gun working on the quick, because I have to ship it out tomorrow. I am mailing it to a friend's house in Florida, where I will meet up with it for a game next weekened.

The shooting while gassing up is common with the ULT. Not too common with the problem you describe, but have you tried oiling the ULT?

Well, I'm using an 850 pre-set, so that shouldn't be an issue...I hope.

I think Fixel is right, I thought about it, sounds like the ult is not reseting properly to fully pressurize to fire the bolt.

I was having this problem this fall when i switched from 280 outdoors to 260 indoor. wich spring is currently on there? the longer red one?

Lets go real simple, turn up the velocity and see if it fires then. It might shoot hot at that point since agd chrono's their markers before shipping out.

Then you will have to swap springs.

x2 on this advise.
The Lvl 7 bolt will cycle with fairly low pressures, the lvl 10 bolt is designed to be close to the edge of not moving during the initial part of it's stroke.
Assuming nothing else has changed you could also try putting a drop of oil on the power-tube o-ring & seeing it will cycle then.

Oh and... I've heard several places that AGD advises you hold the trigger down when connecting the air source, it's supposed to be easier on the internals to let it gas up progressively (everything before the on-off then everything after it) as opposed to all at once. If it's firing when you gas it up I assume you aren't doing that.
