| I Hate This City. Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: New Jersey | First off - Thank you guys. This thread was invaluble getting me headed in the right direction. I've been considering picking up a 'mag for quite some time, but after going to Tunaball II last year I was blown away by the performance of the few warp-fed E-Tacs I saw floating around. Started putting money away to build one up out of used parts until BigEvil put me in touch with Tunaman who, it turns out, had not only a set of NIB ULE E-Mag lowers, but also what may well be the last of the Warp-Left Tac-one bodies. He was a great guy to work with, and was willing to take my order on a payment plan. Yesterday, I finally got the beast into my hands ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Right now, she's equipped nicely: -Level 10 Bolt -X-Valve -ULE Lowers -AGD 3.2 Software -VLocity loader w/Virtue Crown -JCS Folding Combat Stock -NCStar Sight (which I'm pretty impressed with, thus far) -Tunablade Trigger -Smoke Warp Feed - wired to the E-mag lowers -Powerlyte Scepter Barrel Kit -CP On/Off and rail She's got a few more things coming: In the mail, otherwise on order, or waiting on me to get off my butt and do: -A set of Luke's aluminum grips, to be mounted over some Pearce finger grooves. -12V harness for the Warp Feed -Mounting of On/Off Switch and LED on the Warp Feed -Luke's E-mag selector switch -Install X-Mod software -Get some kind of protective conduit over the E-mag-to-warp cable (any suggestions?) -Trim the warp hose to better take advantage of the PTP elbow -Large Capacity Battery I'm also trying to decide between a Hammerhead and Sanchez Machine barrel kit. I'm leaning heavily toward the SM kit - more bores and much friendlier to all of my 'cocker threaded guns - which will finally allow me to consolidate my barrel kits. That said, jury is still out on this one. Then, and this is a ways off - I've got a raw PTP Battery Pack, and a spare rail. ![]() The rail I plan on sending over to Luke for his EM-1 milling, and possibly ULE milling as well - although I've been warned that there is such as thing as removing too much. Any thoughts? Either way, the pack and the rail would then go out for ano together. The only other thing I'm considering doing is a little laser etching on the side of the body - under where I've got the sight mounted: ![]() A fellow player did this design for me - which was originally intended for an AKA project I have waiting in the wings. It's still going onto the AKA, but I'm kicking around the idea of having it etched into the E-Tac as well. Something like this: ![]() So, if you know anything about the etching process, or reliable shops, let me know When she's done, I'll be updating this thread. Anyhow, I'm thrilled. I can't wait to get out and put 'er through the paces. I'm just bummed it's so late in the season Thanks are due to the myriad of people here on MCB and elsewhere who put up with my 'mag questions, BigEvil, Zoo, and Tunaman. Cheers all! ![]()

I've also did it for my e-tac, and afterwards i found out i was very conservative with ULE-ing... ![]() Even more material around the sear slot could have been removed. I could ULE that rail for you, but i live in the netherlands so shipping won't be cheap... Nice tac, where did you get that black "remove before flight" tag? I've only seen them in red only so far.
