thanks...this gun has been some work. Just waiting for the new body to show up, and it'll be done. I remember I wanted a gloss black one back when I started looking at mags, ended up with a silver body, and just ran with it, I'm pretty happy with it.

scotch brite pad, they come in 3 colors and grits

-red/maroon- like 400 grit
-grey- like 600-800 grit
-white- like 1200 grit

pending on the severity of the rust and ( im assuming it is minimal-moderate??? ) try the scotch brite out they are at local auto store, possible lordco and or NAPA?

heck even steel wool, yep I done it before on some cases it works

ok i will give that a try, its enough rust to make me angry that such a great gun was neglected by the kid my brother got it from.theirs rust on the spring that sits on the valve and some on the area's surrounding i am gonna clean it up and lube the o'rings and see how she shoots after that.
