My First Mag

Well, I picked up a Minimag and a 68/3000 tank with an AGD Flatline Reg.
Played a game with it on Sunday, and all I can say is, Why the hell didn't I get one sooner????

It is my ideal marker. felt great in my hands, and ran well all day with the exception of a couple of chops. I am officially nudged!

Thanks guys.

I felt the same way when I got my first mag back in the late 90's. I've never shot anything like it, it just felt...right...Its the only semi that I'll play with now(if I would ever play semi again-I'm on a pump klick). Good luck with it and enjoy man!

Nice! That was at the OSG Halo game right? How was that? Also, to help stop chops you can pick up a parabolic powerfeed plug, that should help paint feed better (unless you already have one, it's the plug that has 2 set screws on it).

Did you mod it any? Like most markers, once you start tinkering with it a bit you can get it working sweet.

For example once I got a new bolt a huge amount of ball breaking stopped. The next great mod for me was an ANS valve. Much more consistant ball-2-ball flight IMHO.

It made playing with my a-m much more enjoyable.

I just kept my Minimag stock internally and it's more consistant and breaks less paint than any of my other parts. They don't need anything, just play with them .

Congrats on the Mag. I had a Mini back in the day and sold it, and last year conned my wife in getting me a Mini for Christmas. Great guns IMHO.
