Decided today to tear down the 'Mag and replace all the orings. Well, the power tube oring was in bad shape. In taking it apart, I decided to replace the oring on the power tube tip (the one that is used to keep the tip in place). In getting it off, I ended up cutting it and ruining it. It was then that I realized that I don't think I had to proper replacement! The oring is larger than the power tube oring (unless it has stretched). I managed to get a power tube oring in place, but it doesn't feel right when I screw the tip on. Anyone know if the power tube oring and the oring that fits at the base of the tip are the same? At this point I don't believe that the oring I need is in the kit.

i was reading the manual and i seem to remember that that o-ring is a "non active" o-ring, and that size is used in a couple other spots on the mag, so i think you can throw one of the ones you where using before onto the powertip... i just don't remeber which one... cheers

I think I've used powertube o-rings to go go around the tip before.

I called AGD today (I needed some other parts too) and confirmed that it is a different oring. Ordered one to replace the one I cut. Dumb move on my part but that little bugger is a pain to get off of the power tube tip.

I know firsthand how much of a pain that one is to replace. I fought with one of mine for a bit before saying "screw it". Unless that one is badly damaged, I'm not bothering to replace it.
