The receiving end of the Emag...

Now I have played against a guy or two using an Emag before. However, Saturday I was against another Emag and man I forgot how wicked fast they can be! I sounded a bit like a pumper with my L7 Classic Mag going up against that thing! The owner of the Emag loaned it out to a buddy who played with it that day. I believe there was some talk about buying it from him but I heard him tell the guy who borrowed it that it wasn't for sale.

On a side note... the young guy who borrowed the Emag told me that he is planning the purchase of an Tac One soon.

Another guy at the field was admiring his purchase of a used RT 'Mag and was really wanting to give it a try on the field. Unfortunately for him, he was on crutches for a while and was just hanging around the shop that day.

Another guy was using a 'Mag with a splash kit...

Long live AGD!

Dang, lots of mag there!

I really wish there were more mags around my field. The only other person I know who has used a mag hated it and scoffs at mine. The rest of the players always ask why I made my Ion a single trigger.

There were only eight of us playing walk-on that day...three of us were shooting AGD 'guns!

It helps that the field owner is a HUGE Automag proponent and has been shooting the same 'Mag now for about 17 or 18 years. He is without a doubt, the single largest reason there are as many 'Mag users around here. I would say there are about a dozen guys around here that use 'Mags as their primary 'gun.

Ya, there is a pretty good mag following around here as well. I think along with myself there are 5 others that use mags as primarys, and about 5 others that own mags.

Back when I was with UMass, me and the other two guys who did most of the field stuff were all 'mag shooters, and we got a few others hooked on 'mags. Got to the point where the first order of business when picking teams was to divide the 'mag shooters.

I love mags, and my mags, but never really got a chance to use them until last weekend at Tunaball.

Man my ULE-bodied X-valve ripped. I am in love with mags again. A whole case with no breaks.

Unfortunately my warpfed minimag's reg piston won't allow LVL 10 pressures, so I will have to tweak it or turn a piston on my lathe. It would have been fun to run double AGD goodness at Tunaball, but the X-valve was tons of fun.

There is a VERY easy fix for that. Hit me up via PM and I will explain.
