| I want to build a mag hey, i'm not doing it soon, but I want to build a mag, but i need to know something would it be possible to build an E-MicroMag, like this ![]() but with a z-frame, even if it has to be sent to be milled/modded thanks |

| Ultimate Battle Monkey Z | Not a classic e-mag I don't think. There are a boatload of angles involved with the sear since you're talking electronic and mechanical operation. You just aren't likely to get all that to work AND be able to cram the electronics in there, on a Z frame. Some other kind of electro-conversion or EP, you're likely in business.

| i would say no. with the way the guts are in a regular Emag frame, it will be a tight fit to put that in a Z-grip or even Y-frame. you have to remember, there is a lot in the grip, which also contribute to the reason why there is a battery pack, and not a 9 volt power source. if you are all hell bent, i would suppose you could commission someone to make a Z-frame but with the necessary room for the guts. or get a Hyper frame, a preditor/morlock board and make it all fit in a Z-frame. that would be ultra unique. |

| MCB Member | You couldnt do a REAL emag with a Z or Y frame. You could do some more standard spyder mag / centerflag hyperframe style E frame.

Automags.Org Online Forums - Why not restart production on E-Mags and X-Mags? Tunaman is probably the most well known certified AGD tech and dealer there is. He is also an MCB 'er too. Tunaman5 at comcast dot net . It may take you 3 or 4 emails before you get a response, he stays too busy.

| thanks for all the replies, and yes, i am insisting on having it MY way, lol ok, i have another question. how heavy is the trigger pull on a mag? i've never actually shot one. is the trigger walkable on a mech mag? Last edited by Not_You; 05-31-2008 at 04:08 PM. |

now the pull, its hard to describe. Mags are best used with a double trigger and a L10 kit. mag single triggers are tight and snappy, since you are basically tripping the sear holding back about 450psi. the double triggers elevate this, as its uses the lever principle. but in a pneu-Mag, or E-mag its very easy.
