I dont see what the big deal is, its a great frame, better than any 90 or other aftermarket frame. It has the biggest trigger guard of any frame out there, which makes it easier for fat fingers to walk. And the sharp edges on the trigger itself are a plus to me. Its a Fireblade trigger. Only way it could be any better would be if it was a Tunablade trigger, (scythe style) but you probably wouldnt like that one either, it has sharp edges too. Had one on my Emag and loved it. | |

| MCB Member | I am not saying it isnt a good frame. When I shoot I am not holding the frame all that much, but when I am looking at it in my living room I think "this piece was not machined with any amt of love at all" When you hold it, it doesnt feel right. No trigger frame should be that boxy, like the DP trigger frames.. icky. Good trigger setup and I like the design, just needs the edges softened like any gun trigger frame would be. I shouldnt be able to scrape my hand on the trigger guard, give me a break. The trigger itself feels great. It is just made in what I would call a cheap way. Id like to pick up a raw one and shape it so that it is good and then anodize it and have custom grips made, but it would take too much time and money, so I dont think i will ever choose the UMF.
