| To be honest, you're probably looking at roughly the same cost either way. Classics tend to sell for around $100. That $100 isn't even going to buy you a new body of whatever style you prefer, and you're still looking at a new valve, frame, etc on top of it. How much faster are we talking? Like E-Mag/PneuMag fast? Or like ULT fast?

| MCB Member | Well an X valve is 200 bucks or so and if your lucky you will find one with the neccesary tuning parts for that price. A retro / emag / rt pro valve is 100 or so. I dont think the trade off is good. Those non X valves arent much lighter, and they offer all of the shootup and strange velocity a normal X valve does. Best option IMO is an aluminum regulator body for the classic mag (if you want to save a few oz' of weight. And for the trigger pull, an RT on off assembly should improve the feel. Nothing beats the classic valve man. |

| Yeah weight is not that much of a concern for me. I just want my gun to be a little faster and have a nicer trigger pull instead of the trigger having a lot of slop. But maybe i'll just buy a level 10 kit for my classic valve
