Just get the valve and the frame. Unless you have to radically change your look, that's all you would need.

To be honest, you're probably looking at roughly the same cost either way. Classics tend to sell for around $100. That $100 isn't even going to buy you a new body of whatever style you prefer, and you're still looking at a new valve, frame, etc on top of it.

How much faster are we talking? Like E-Mag/PneuMag fast? Or like ULT fast?

12-15 with a ULT might be a little much...

Well an X valve is 200 bucks or so and if your lucky you will find one with the neccesary tuning parts for that price.

A retro / emag / rt pro valve is 100 or so.

I dont think the trade off is good. Those non X valves arent much lighter, and they offer all of the shootup and strange velocity a normal X valve does.

Best option IMO is an aluminum regulator body for the classic mag (if you want to save a few oz' of weight. And for the trigger pull, an RT on off assembly should improve the feel.

Nothing beats the classic valve man.

Yeah weight is not that much of a concern for me. I just want my gun to be a little faster and have a nicer trigger pull instead of the trigger having a lot of slop. But maybe i'll just buy a level 10 kit for my classic valve
