too twist or just lock

Ok so i have 95% of a pump mag setup. the last part being grip panels and the twistlock barrel pin. i dont care all to much about the grips at this point....

my question is can i use a screw to lock in the barrel permenantly (it is the back of a freak system) or do i have to use a twistlock pin assembly. this is the only twistlock barrel that i have and i do not forsee ever needing to pull the barrel off when on field. any suggestions?

Mmmm...

I'm going to say yes, yes you can. However you'll have to thread the hole for the twistlock pin, and you may need to make a custom screw to fit through the body (as the twistlock pin assembly is fairly fat, yet the pin itself is quite small in diameter).

Could do as rob suggested or ive found sometimes just tightening the twistlock screw a bunch will keep things were you want them.

AGD also makes non remavable twist locks for rentals, just contact them for availability.

we locked all our rentals in cause without foregrips customers hold the barrel then think the guns broke O_o even after you said DONT TWIST THE BARREL

Tal - yes i know i would love a python system but already had 2 full sets of freak system, and backs for all the other guns.

Robertsr - ok so tapping rail takes more effort then i want, i have a pin assembly on one of my rails that had a Tac1 body... well just the peice that fits the rail (no pin, spring or screw) could i just find a screw that maches thread and use that?

thanks for the suggestions, i just want cheapest method possible

His twist lock pin is incomplete there fore it would not work without being modded.
