| Loose Cannon Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: St. John's, NL, Canada | Pneumag Value? I am wondering if I have priced the Pneumag in my sale a little too high. Here it is: idkfa's Gun Sale Part 1 Can anyone give me a realistic price to set this at? After paying customs on it, it cost me well over $500 to buy. I think I might part it out, Pneu frames seem to be an easy sell. Any thoughts? |

It just doesn't look good for $500 even though all put together it has that value to it. If it was all black, or at least the feedneck clamp and grips didn't clash with the rest of it , you might do better.

The grips and the neck are both a really nice blue (it looks purple in the pictures) and complements everything to a degree. Worst case, I part it. Last edited by idkfa; 07-02-2008 at 03:04 PM.. |

As far as I know, he never dropped the price on it, and it got sold, but it took a couple of weeks. Your price seems comparable with a somewhat mismatched marker without a lvl10. It'll probably sell, just not quickly. Parting it would be quicker, but you will probably end up with leftovers. |

Aside from the frame, it's not really sporting any "special" mag gear so also part of why it won't command top dollar. As said above though, sales in general seem pretty slow these days, so you might just need to give it a while and keep bumping it, or worst case throw it over on PBN or eBay for more visibility if it isn't selling here or AO. I don't think $500 is way out of the ballpark for what you've got, but it is a little cosmetically challenged which might be thwarting some bidders. Personally, I'm not a fan of the LPR being mounted off the ASA (for me it's either in-grip or off the vertical under the barrel). The frame and rail look raw in some of the pics, which could be a plus or minus depending on if someone wants their own color scheme, or a "done gun". For colors you've kinda got a 4-color scheme going (black, blue, raw/silver, and clear plastic) which IMO detracts from the aesthetics a bit; from what I've seen markers that are done in 1-2 colors tend to sell fastest. If you -need- to sell now, you might have better luck with $450 and accepting $400 offers, and I recommend you swap the grip panels, feedneck, and hosing for solid black if you have that as an option, just to minimize the colors.
