So..uh..

Are E-mags like the perfect semi gun or what? I haven't even PLAYED with mine yet and it's already approaching the top of my list.

Essentially, yes.

An X-valve can cycle at 36 bps, LVL.10 is physically incapable of chopping when it's well tuned, batteries don't get drained quickly and are rechargeable, and the mech/bounce/electro settings mean that you're never "out of batteries".

Mags are infintely customizable too, due to their modular construction, so you rarely see two that look alike. Think about all the so-called "innovations" in the paintball industry to date, then look at Automags; relatively unchanged over the years 'cept the move from steel to aluminum, and they still outshoot most markers on the market.

What.

If they were half the weight, it would have been perfect.

I liked the one that I used 4 years ago.. it had a nice snappy trigger, emode or mech.

The idea of a modular breech is cool too.

Well, that depends which emag you're talking about. A stock emag with a SS body and Emag valve is heavy, but my emag with a ULE, Xvalve, and Shadow rail is right at 2.2 pounds.

Guess I don't notice that since I've got some milling and a Karta body/rail on mine, but it's not THAT heavy on the scale of VM68 to Luxe.
