Black Spots on sear

What is it? Is it ok, if not how do i remove them.

If it's not affecting the operation I wouldn't sweat it. The sears are titanium-nitride? plated, so it's probably just some exotic oxidation. Maybe some quality time with a little bit of high grit sandpaper is in order. Although you probably don't need to do anything at all.

Yeah, probably oxidation of some sort. If it works alright just leave it.

It's Stachybotrys chartarum on the sear. Send me your mag for proper disposal.

Post pics. I've never seen black spots on a sear before.

Oh yeah, I've had sears like that. I just scrape at them a bit to make sure no junk falls off inside the marker, other than that I ignore it.

That's a sign that your Mag needs a good tear down cleaning (I.E Take the whole thing apart, clean, grease and oil every individual part).
