In my Pump Mag when I shoot it with a quick snap of trigger and then firm and deliberate ... The sound of marker differs. ( Velocity tho is fine either way )
* What I get some shots is a solid "POP", other shots a "POP HISS"
The noise is obviously the filling of dump chamber after the shot, but why the difference ?

I under stand that with a pump mag the bumper spring keeps the sear from re catching, and by not catching has the On/Off switch not fully moved to its cocked position until gun is actually fully cocked.
* Would a slight adjustment of On/Off pin length help in a pump application ?
Thanks,
Scott
