Hardline?

I want to run some hardlinw on my Classic from the vertical ASA to the valve. Would a hardline kit made for a Phantom fit? If not where can i find some fittings and tube?

Thanks in advance.

Doc Nickel (docsmachine.com)did a mag that way, but I don't know what line he used. Automotive brake line might work, but I'd make darn sure what pressure it would handle.

Good luck!

Automotive line is generally rated to 3000 PSI fluid pressure (which is what the guy at Fisher Auto Parts told me, and he had grease under his fingernails, so he must have known his stuff. )

I've been using it for years on my primary mag with no issues. Of course, I run it on compressed air, and don't whang it into things too...

I dont really like hardline coming from mag valves because I dont like to bust out the tools just to get at the valve.

A nice braided line with a QD is the best if you ask me. At least, its the most trouble free. Maybe not the cleanest..but no air line is clean. Epics are clean.

I have hardline to the vert adapter and steel braid from the vert to the valve.

Not so much. I've only done it to one gun.

Now if I could just work out a quick disconnect that works with hardline...

Just use a female to female QD and a straight male compression. gets kind of long but it will work. Or put the QD on the valve, and get a compression to female, and stick your male QD on there.

Ahh, but you have to be able to move the hardline to get the QD to disconnect.

I've tried what you described, and it was not un-doable once done.
