| Rec Poster Join Date: Feb 2008 | mag questions i just picked this thing up for pretty cheap, im wondering how much it would be worth. ive been interested in pump mags and pneumags, should i look into turning it that way. i dont believe this can be pump'd, but i would like to try. just let me know what you think. it seems to be in pretty good condition, just needs to be cleaned up. i know it has a ans level 2 venturi bolt and i think it has a classic valve that has been modified. ![]() |

It could be milled out (and that's a big maybe) but more than likely it wouldn't work and would ruin the body. Pnuemagging is possible, but I wouldn't mess with that frame too much since it matches the body. By the way, what you have there is a PTP Micromag in "Wild Iguana" pattern by PK Selective. It's a gen3 (powerfeed, detachable detent, no "tail", and an ASA) and it appears to have the original valve. Pretty valuable, but made less so due to the lack of matching barrel/ASA/VA and the chopped trigger guard. My advice, as a PTP collector, would be to keep the valve with it, and the original frame (to keep the value, though the frame isn't as important now that it's cut). The only things I'd mess with would be a new trigger guard, grips, lvl10 bolt, barrel, bottomline, etc. Otherwise I think you'll pretty happy with the marker as it is, and have a much more desirable, funcitonal and collectible item.
