Help-X Valve and LX and ULT

I recently bought it and the ULT from AGD and then i tried to install it and it wont fire, i added shims one of a time. untill i used them all and still doesnt work.

Please help also how do you get the powertube open with a coin? that is what it says on the AGD thing

Did the XValve work in your gun before you tried to add the ULT?

It is always easier to try to isolate problems one at a time. Since the X-Valve has a Lvl 10 in it, is it possible that the carrier in the Lvl 10 is too small, giving you bolt stick.

Also, be prepared to run through about 2 tanks worth of air, breaking in the XValve and Lvl 10 before doing anything else to the gun. That will break in the o-ring in the Lvl 10 and should allow you to move to a more appropriate (closer to final) carrier.

Once that has been accomplished, then look to installing the ULT.

i got it working. why should i leave the original on off in? should it just be the ULT to break it in.

You can't use a coin or the mainspring to open the power tube on a valve set up for level-10. It has a hex pattern on the powertube tip. The regular ones have a rounded notch where you can stick a coin to unscrew the tip.

It's just to make it easier to troubleshoot problems. If you have multiple things causing the not shooting, it makes things harder to diagnose. If it's working you can just leave the ULT in and fine tune.

Ok new problem my gun will shoot a couple shots then not recock, i dont know what the fps is at. I increased the carrier to the grooved one with no dot. do i have to increase again?

"Bolt stick." Increase to two grooved carrier I believe to end that stick. Can someone confirm?

The package from AGD only had 4 carriers in it.

He means the carrier marked with two groves.
