| CHEERS! Join Date: Mar 2006 Location: Northern California | Do this. Use the .220 spacer first. Then try a .215 if that doesn't work. I haven't tried an old Power Tube spring in mine so I don't know if that's your problem or not. Go for a .220 spacer first. Drop it in the power tube and THEN the power tube o-ring (the "incorrect" assembly procedure). Cut your main spring if this doesn't work. |

| Rec Poster Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Southern California, AutomagLand | I've never had to cut my main spring. Use the level 7 main spring. Old used ones work best. Sit them side by side and select the shortest one. If it still goes semi, then change out your wave spring or try bending it out equally around a bit to make it taller. |

| Active Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: Detroit & Capac, Mi | Rainman said to just cut the spring and it worked for me. He also stated that many of the original AGD pump kits required you to cut the spring as well. All I know is that my pump is working great now. |
