I just finished assembling this and it shoots great as a semi auto; even with the wave spring and rubber bumper installed. I don't understand why the sear is capturing the bolt. Any suggestions on what to do to make this work like it should? ![]() |

| MCB Member | Please elaborate more. Do you have a lvl7 set up? Do you have the new pump bumper INSIDE the wave spring? also, It is the general consensus that the .220 power tube spacer works best with the pump mag. I set up my first pump mag this weekend. It was a little frustrating at first but ended up not being all too much of a hassle. |

The bumper is set inside the wave spring as it is supposed to be. This is also a brand new kit from Rainman if that matters. I am fairly confident with Mags but I don't understand why the bolt is comming back enough for the sear to catch it. It just seems like the wave spring is too weak or the bolt spring is too strong... |

Unfortunately, I've found P-Mags to be reallly finiky. Maybe I've just had bad luck, but it seems you really have to know a mag in and out to keep it running.. |

I do have an older one that I took out of my minimag when I changed out the o-rings. But that one is physically longer by 1/16" than the newer one I have in there. Doesn't AGD make different strength bolt springs for the Lvl-10? I wonder if a weaker sping (if I could find one) would solve the issue. Sound like another trip to the shop to look for an old worn out spring... I had another ANS venturi bolt in there and it worked okay. But the bolt had some damage to the lip where the sear would catch and it would not always remain cocked after cocking. So I switched it out with an AGD lvl-7 foamyless bolt and now find myself in this possition. I have another bolt in another mag at home, that I will try when I get home just to rule out an issue with "that" bolt. The kicker is that I have another stock class P-Mag that works great. And I have never had an issue with it. |

| A god in my own mind | Your main spring is to stiff and is over coming the wave spring. Try your old spring. If that don't work try cutting the old spring down till it does work. Wouldn't be the first time some one needed to cut there spring to get one to work. Even used to happen with the agd kits
