Stupid question

I cant get the trigger pin out of the frame. how do you do it? I have tried to hammer it out, but that doesnt seem to be doing anything. It is on an intelliframe.

Are you going the right way? Most have splines on them so you can only go one direction.....without tearing something up!!

Hammer harder. The pin on my y-frame was in there really tight and needed a really hard whack(s) with a punch to get out. If it starts coming out and you don't see splines, you are going the wrong way.

what are splines? I got it out and there some grooved lines in the pin that is the way it came out grooves first.

Yup, those grooves should come out first. You are doing it right.

Put it back in the same way - groves last. If you haven't figured it out yet, they wedge against the sides of the hole and keep the pin in place. You probably knew that, though.
