pump mag question

got my rainman pump kit. Its set up on a lvl7 valve. Shoots great, however during the pump stroke the pump handle sticks when its pushed back far enough to catch the bolt on the sear.

I tried adjusting the pump rod and didn't seem to make any real progress. Do i need to adjust it more?

what am i doing wrong here?

You need to bend the pump rod up a little where it contacts the bolt face. The dragging is caused by the rod going under the bolt lip....
