Need help with mag

Ok, I just got a mag off ebay and it looks almost brand new. Im sure some of ya saw it up as it was in a few threads here. It has the elcipse rail and the benchmark trigger frame. Problem is, in doesnt shoot. I think its in the trigger frame or trigger assembly itself. The gun airs up but no trigger action at all. I pulled the valve and ran air through it to make sure it was getting air, and all was well there. I keep tryin to adjust the extension rod but just cant find the right sweet spot to get a trigger pull and sear trip. Is it possible the trigger assembly is wore out and needs replacement? It looks unused and brand new, but its just not catching.

Question

Need more info. What valve does it have and what power source ?
If you are using an HPA tank with a low pressure output regulator on it the mag wont fire. They need 800 psi input and typically LP regs are 450 psi input.

What kind of tank and reg ?
I had one of those 3A tanks that was supposed to be high pressure output and it was only putting out 650 and the brand new Tac One would fire right.

try screwing the velocity adjuster in a few turns. My mag wont fire if the velocity is too far out. also try and also pull out your ON/off assembly and make sure that the o-rings are sitting properly in the hole

thanks for the help gentlemen, we got her going. Just did a complete teardown, cleaning, oiling, turned the velocity up and adjusted the extension rod a bit more and bingo, she came back to life. I think the main problem was the on/off assembley was gummed up in the middle oring and I dont know if it matters, but the pin was in backwards.

in the trigger assembly. The rod that screws in and out to adjust the trigger pull.
