I saw what looked like an aftermarket reg body at one of the local shops tonight. It was from air america and was a 4 hole instead of the stock 1 hole and not the regular aftermarket 8 hole. The odd thing was that it was milled down a lot. On the front part where it screwed into the valve body it was a regular diameter but quicly tappered off to a much smaller diameter.

it's tapper was some what like the violater but it didn't have the wrench flats. It also had a different screw for pressure adjustments.

I was wanting to see if someone could confirm that they did make a product like this for a mag or to let me know if this may go to one of their regular vert regs and it is just a close match to a mag reg body.

anyway I will probably pick it up either this weekend or on monday, I gotta wait for someone else to be at the store that can price it for me. If I get it I'll post some pics.

It is a bottom reg body from a violator (Stainless) or an early black ice (aluminum, black). Early black ices didnt have wrench flats. The were not made for Mag air valves. BUT they will work on them, just use the standard mag parts, (Seat, pin, piston, spring pack). You will have to use a drop or 2 of blue loc-tite to keep it from vibrating off as you shoot, and you will have to cut the rail so its not too long. Dont spend much for it, it wont do anything other than lighten up your gun a tiny bit. It will NOT inprove performance, trust me.

the wieght and funny look were the biggest reasons I was looking at it. I know the aftermarket reg bodies don't really help since the bottle neck is the valve pin and reg seat.
