almost done but i have a few question

For the sear, since i am using an emag valve, i need to use an emag sear right?

Do i need anything to put on the axel pin to make it fit? Right now the axel pin that i pull off of an rt rail is much smaller than the hole for the sear.

Are emag sear longer than regular rt sear?

Thanks

There's classic sear/pin and Emag sear/pin AFAIK. They don't have to do with the valve; they're dependent on the rail.
Not sure about the second part of your questions, though.

Emag sears have all the extra bits on the lower end for connecting up with the solenoid. The upper portion of all mag sears is functionally the same, except for the sear pin hole ( some have bushings, some don't, etc). It should not make any differerence what valve you use as long as you have a matched combination of sear, sear pin, and rail.

Sorry about the confusion for the second part:

Right now i have 2 sear, 1 with bushing that fit the sear pin perfectly, and one without bushing that does not fit the sear pin perfectly. But sear pin hole for the the second sear ( it came with the emag valve), seem to be bigger than the sear pin, but smaller than the bushing, so that the bushing from the other sear would not fit, yet at the same time the hole is too big for just the pin alone.

Do i need somekind of bushing that is smaller for the second sear pin?

The second sear pin is also about 1/8 of an inch longer than the first sear pin when comparing length.

thanks

Does your sear look like this?

then its an emag sear

if it looks like this :

Its an RT Sear or RT pro sear

if it looks like this:

Its a classic sear

Do you have 2 emag sears, 1 with bushing and 1 without? Or 2 of the other sears ?

It seem like i have 1 classic and 1 RT sear

Do i need to get a specific sear pin to use the classic? Or should i just use the RT sear with the phoenix rail?

thanks

Yeah, the classic takes a straight pin ( like a dowel) no screw on it. It drops into the top of the rail before you put the body on ( no screw hole on the side). If the pin you have fits the rail you have, use the rt sear.

you can buy axle pins at agd

If you cannot use the classic sear with that frame due to the type of pin, I just happen to need a classic sear let me know if you want to get rid of it.
