Xmgas come with a unibody with changable breaches, and ususally had ACE. Xmags hold their price really well. the lowers are pretty much the same, most Xmags had ULE lowers, so it was a little lighter. and the valves, Xmags came with X valves, emags came with E valves. I really like my Xamg alot, they are just a nice unique gun to own |

The only real different that would be noticeable is the body type, and that is about it. Everything else is interchangeable between them. Unless you are consider getting getting some kind of rare X valve. Also xmag are not cheep, they run 1300 for one, and 400 to 600 for emag. |

Tbaggin and pk5 pretty much hit the nail on the head, the only thing that I would add is that the X-Mag is aluminum and so can be anodized. The E-Mag comes with a stainless steel body though many people have replaced theirs with ULE bodies. One last thing, I think that the 400-600 for an E-Mag is a bit low. I've seen JUST the E-Mag lowers going for ~400 on AO. I'd say it's closer to 500-800. EDIT: The E-Mag and X-Valves are basically the same thing, the only difference is that the X-Valve is all aluminum and the E-Mag valve is half stainless. You could also customize the Emag like such: ![]() Thus, the valves are the same, the lowers on this one are ULE milled, so about as light as the Xmag. Only difference is the changeable breach on the Xmag. But if you plan to just use a hopper on top instead of messing around with warp feeds to the side, the Emag is the economical way to go. With the Emag, though, you can use different bodies and rails for a physical difference. The Xmag will always have the same body as every other Xmag. So if you're looking for a project/customization marker, take the Emag. This one is about as Upgraded as you can go and only about 1000-1200 dollars in comparison to an Xmag at around 1300+ But Xmags are still Xmags (the holiest of holy in the mag world)... besides a pump mag |
