Wondering who has time to work on a desert fox for me? Was initially going to send it out to rainman but funds got cut short last year. Basically turning it into my main and would like to get her ready for spring castle by gutting reg installing palmers, adding hardline on top. Nice old schoold drop added and just general tinkering with it to get it functioning. I have a parts kit and the palmers stab. Toss me a PM or post on here , have the funds ready now, would really like to get it going to take to castle with me. Thanks.

Gutting the reg is very simple and takes less than 5 minutes.

Just unscrew the dump chamber, and remove the allen-head screw you see that's retaining the brass piston. Replace dump chamber.

Unscrew the velocity plug on the back and remove the spring behind it. Replace the velocity plug.

Now slowly screw a tank on until you hear a 'pop' coming from the valve body. That's the guts of the reg getting expelled. Unscrew the dump chamber and velocity plug again, and dump the guts out.

Now wrap teflon tape around the velocity plug and screw it back in. Install the new regulator, and there you go.
