Yeah, that's another option, or if you want to ghetto-rig, just screw a piece of stock across the back of the bolt, to make it like a "charging handle".

for a valve you should use a 32* magnaport, you can buy them really cheap on iisports.com.

You could also lighten your trigger pull by finding very thin washers at the hardware store and placing them between the gun body and the trigger frame....but they have to be pretty thin or the sear wont catch the striker.

I believe the safeties for that style frame and other nicer aftermarket frames use the small safety assembly found on old spyder frames like the "compact" and the like.
out of disparity I drilled out the safety hole on my bob long frame to except a VL safety but you could probably do the same with a newer (larger) style spyder safety....which can be found on sundragonpaintball.com Spyder Replacement Parts....I'm pretty sure that's the larger style.

But what I don't understand is, Why there isn't anyone on MCB that makes the old smaller style safeties?....how hard could it be???

The child dimly suspects a mysterious order in the arrangement of the books but doesn't know what it is. That , it seems to me, is the attitude of even the most intelligent human being toward God. Heh, I would normally agree with you. However, since it is a loaner gun, I would like to offer them one more safety device (in addition to the BBD, of course).

Sorry, got an unrelated question, but did you buy the bob long frame complete? Or did you get it from i&i for like $10 and put your own internals in? I ask because I want to get the frame from i&i but I'm not sure if the internals from my stock frame will fit. Here is my stock frame.

I got it in a parts box. It was NIB, with no internals. I harvested parts from one of those older pot metal stock single trigger frames and luckily most everything fit. I think I had to maybe use a different pin somewhere, but I really can't remember. The safety is not compatible though, so I am still out of luck with that (I may try to drill it open a bit and use a stock safety as suggested above).

And NICE pump! I love the Sterling-esque look of the handle.

Thanks.
Good to know. My frame is plastic, but it sounds like my parts may fit. I'll hive it a shot. They're cheap anyway.

BL and dye safeties (god that looks weird) are slightly larger around than the single trigger ones. im not 100% sure if the newer style double trigger frames use the same safety as the old single triggers.

You knwo what sucks? I was digging in an old toolbox of gravity hoppers to see if I had anything worth posting, and I found an old spyder one, with plastic single trigger frame that I put on my imagine to give the e-grip a break.... In that same box though I have a junk 32* rebel bottom line, that I had to drill the bolt out of. The 32* had a double finger 45 grip frame that fits spyders, and the safety looks to match.. I would have included it in our package for cheap. Oh well the link druid posted isn't a bad price...

If that link kills you in shipping pm me, my girlfriend wants my unused junk gone. You will have to take the whole frame though.
