It clamps around the barrel and the LPR. The smallest hole is for the 3-way.

And does it need to be a clamp?

Because I made a very simple 3 way mount for a trilogy for a customer... and it could/would almost work exactly the same with out being.. well.. so big!



I think a simple elegant solution is to make a piece that would only clamp to the LPR then use the LPR as a guide rod.

I definitely like that. The LPR on this gun is only supported, at the moment, by a 10/32 fitting. My intention was to use this to support the LPR as well. It doesn't actually need to clamp though, two set screws each for the barrel, LPR and 3-way would work fine also, just this way there are only two bolts.

I originally planned to do this in my garage, so this was what I came up with as something I could probably do. I soon discovered that my drill press couldn't slow down enough to use anything much larger than a 1/2" bit without raising the dead, but the design stuck.
