I want to install an E-stop on my 3-phase mill, do I need to find a triple-pole switch (not having much luck) or can I get away with a dual/single pole?

I thought about connecting 3 relays together, problem is I'd also have to wire power to their coils.

I'm not much for electronics, but could you break the circuit on the ground?

Thanks, I'd rather have a big red button but that could certainly do the trick.

It's actually 380v here, 240v for our single-phase. There is a 3-to-1 phase converter connected inline (as the light and power feed run off single) but the main power is 3-phase.

if you want a button that will get more expensive. As you won't find one to suit your needs. So you need to go the route of using some sort of starter/contact

Found this on ebay today, what do you guys think? Probably won't get it because I got a weddin to pay for but I love cnc's and know a little about programming and would love to learn more. Also he's close enough I would be able to pick it up myself and not pay shipping

If I had the cash I'd go for it, just a grand over what the syil cnc I'm saving up for costs and this thing is on a whole different level of cnc's. If you could manage it do it, though I'm not sure this is a good machine to learn on. Something small like a cnc'd x3 or a syil would be better to learn on if your new to cnc's.

I just started looking at the syil machines and just for my own curiousity and it may be a silly question but how do you go about programing them? with the Haas machines ive used you download your gcode onto a usb and plug it in. Would these just be linked straight to your computer instead?

Yes it links directly to a computer to recover the gcode.
