What are your plans for it? Looks like a small mill, or am I missing something?

Maybe this is what I need to do, is this something commercial or a home brew?

No plans for it really, just got it for a great price and I've always wanted one. It could possibly simplify cutting the dovetail for tool holders should I choose to try and make some.

Looks like the lathe I was looking at with the 150 RPM minimum has sold. Looking for the next target, I am looking back to this :ROCKWELL 11-INCH LATHE

It is lacking a chuck and a tail stock and drill Chuck, but I was going to run collets for a while anyway. The turret might work just fine, but if it doesn't, would I be hosed trying to find a tail stock? Also a little nervous about the variable speed control, but as long as it works...

Also, how's the asking price look?

Here is some info: http://www.lathes.co.uk/delta%20metal/page2.html

Looks about 750-1000 too high for my taste. Do the ways look similar to a SB? I can't see from that picture. What taper on the headstock or threads? Might have trouble finding a backplate, and without a lathe could you make one?

I ended up finding a nice switch for my 3-phase equipment, the BS230B. I would have preferred a plastic body instead of metal but it was inexpensive and seems to work just fine.
