Was this post in regards to boring a Tiberius barrel? If so, how painful was it and will you do more if we send em to you all at once?

I got my stock Etha barrel back from Tom.
Machining is top notch as always. All of the inserts I owned worked with the barrel without any issues, even my .675 brass insert which can be somewhat picky with freak bored barrels.
Thanks Tom!

I received my empire traccer barrel back. At first I thought hurricane sandy swallowed it. Just took a little longer to deliver, but a speedy return after boring!

Okay, I have something different...

I have an old gun that I really like, but it's a unibody. The issue is roll-outs...
I am wondering about the feasibility and cost of the following:

1: Cut barrel to length of insert + threads for freak (or compatible) tip
2: Bore shortened barrel for inserts
3: Cut threads in barrel for barrel tip.

Gun barrel is 1.00" O.D. aluminum (feels like 6061).
It won't be all that ugly, since the pump handle will cover the splice.
