Full auto TPX....
Anyone think (or know someone) theycould handle modifying a Tippman TPX pistol to be full auto? Hold the trigger and empty a mag. And if you can, can you put in a selector switch to run from single shot to full auto? Just a thought..... Any confident takers???

.......Why? You'd need to change mags every three seconds :P
That and your efficiency would drop through the floor... 15 or so per 12 gram.
A problem I see is that the rate-of-fire would be WAY too high and you'd chop almost every round. If you just cut the sear that controls its semiautomatic-ness it would be like an uncapped full auto.

Why? Why not???? :-)
And I agree, I think ROF would need to be monitored so cutting the sear is not feasible. Not in my eyes anyway.

Yeah, it would basically fire as fast as the spring can bounce the bolt back... which is toooo fast.
You'd basically need a board and solenoid to properly cap the ROF. Which there isn't much room for, UNLESS you were to attach a foregrip to the rail, bore it out, and put the stuff inside that...

Yeah, bit above my expertise.....

Someone was working on this in the Sidearms section a while ago, can't seem to find the thread now.
