Question adding real pistol sights to a t8?

would it be possible to mill dovetails in a t8 to accept real steel sights?

really just looking for more durable sights

ive seen them where they are epoxied on but i was thinking of getting the back block on the t8 milled for a dove tail, i know the mounting screws are in the way but couldnt you mill the slot, slide the sight in and put the screws around it? (it may be hard to explain but i know what i mean lol)

Ok had an idea, I just got a t8.1 and the sights on it are infinately better than the t8 so what I was thinking is would it be possible for someone to make an adapter so .1 sights could fit on a .0? They would be small but what I'm picturing is an inline dove-tail ala the t8 on the bottom a small plate with a set screw to hold it in the stock mounting position and a normal dove-tail on top so the .1 sights could slide in and it all be one piece, like I said they would be tiny but I think its feasible

Anyone willing to give it a shot?
