Who can make me a freak back?

Hi all

The last week-end, I played on a tournament with my sterling then with my phantom. If I changed, it was because my sterling broke balls... The worst, a ball broke when the last player went to buzz my base... Looooooooose.........

Since a moment, I want a sterling threaded body to change my spyder threaded body. But I want a good barrel and for me the best is the freak. I search someone who can make me a freak back with sterling thread for the marker and a cocker thread for the front to put a lapco or other.

If you're interested, MP me.

Marc

Sterling threads.

The easiest thing is to have PPS install wedgits in the barrel, that will probably solve your rollout problems and you will be a happy camper.

Other option is to have someone bore out the stock barrel to work with freak inserts.

They limit the amount of bandwidth your free subscription pictures can use, and then make the photo unviewable. Please use imgur.com or another free image host that does not ruin picture threads.

Ok. To be more clear. What is the actual designation in OD X TPI for the "sterling threads".

Though, as I understand it, the newer Sterlings use Spyder threading.

OP should confirm what Sterling version he has first before asking for a barrel, IMO.

you could try something like this.

the inserts are about 1" long. The reason I did this was because the barrel was too thin to bore (it was in fact a Dye sterling barrel)

I know it's the main problem, the barrel is too thin to be bored. The back (like I would have it) must have for specifications:

-sterling thread
-o'rings inside is a plus
-with or without windows to see the insert
-cocker thread for the front
-alloy or stainless (too expensive I think but really durable)
-OD 1", I have a stp2007 pump handle

I know it's a lot of specifications.

I ask me the question: it's more expensive to find a barrel kit in BST section and to rethread it? What's the best barrel for you?

SSC can make it but I want a 14 or 16" barrel... And SSC can't now.
