Rediculoud Spyder Project

Wondering who I should go to about doing some crazy work on a spyder. Right now it would be Making a frame fit (haven't decided which one yet, not a UL, Maybe an aftermarket ION frame) and altering my front block to take a standard Reg. I know more will come to me when I get back to my gun to see what I want done. Whoever wants to possibly take this job (depending on if a gun sells, I know I hate to say it but this is just an idea right now) post up.

heh, woops. *Rediculous*.

The problem with getting aftermarket frames to work is you need to make room to accomodate the pancake solenoid. You might be able to work an Ego or E-blade frame with some milling but an Ion frame is just plain going to be too narrow to work.

Fair enough, maybe something on the thicker side. I'm not a smart parts fan anyway :P

I would bark up the ego tree and have an airsmith mill it for an e-blade sear solenoid, if you do the timing right on your board, it should work great.

I'm not sure if that one would be wide enough, but a star frame from an 05 Ego may just work. I've never seen a SL8R in person though.

It definetly won't work, the top is all weird cut to match the body, it would take a MASSIVE adapter plate to make it work. I had the same idea in mind about the star frame, but I also love E2's...hmmmm. Is no one able to do this for me though? too sticky for even the best to touch?

What is this EM1 you speak of? Am I just completely out of the loop here? Maybe a little too much mainstream speedball exposure lately? not enough?

Em1 was basically spyders own version of the timmy. But rather then using a double action ram. They went like a bko and spring returned the bolt and hammer. Making it a ebolt marker. The ram is the hammer. uses a 2 way valve rather then a 4 way like a timmy. Same as the Dargun The One kit.
