The Dream of Nickel Magnums, and the living dead

I have a chance to aquire these 2 beautiful AGA .62s.

I cant help but think they would look so good in Complete Nickel coat with some pearl handles.Problem is the caliber of paint is no longer available.I understand that they can be converted to .68,but that you now have a pistol not shooting higher than 150fps,and of course youd have to have some new mags made, but that seems as if that would be the simple part.
Is there no way to correct or compensate this velocity problem.Ideally id like another 100-120 fps,but if i could squeeze out another 70 I think i could live with that.230?I just need to be closer..but hey then you can see better the coolness of the markers i just shot you with.
I love to here from palmers on this,as they were my first consideration since i wanted nickel coat.Thought Craig might have some idea about the velocity issue, but honestly Im open to any suggestions

Why not sleeve them down to .50 cal? That's readily available.

Of course, you may have a problem breaking them on the target unless you hit something hard, but it would probably be easier to sleeve than to bore.

Nickel could be an issue because of the revolver movements. I can't remember if they actually move or not, been a long long time since I've seen one work.

Yea, as much as I would love to see that too, wouldn't the nickel add an extra layer which would in turn stop the chamber from moving?
