Re-Threading for asa needed

I have an SL-68 II that the asa needs to be re-threaded.

I don't have the tap for this size.

Price quote?

Are the threads damaged or severly worn?

The receiver is brand new, never used.

The tank only screws in half way; looks like 'bad threads'.

They look 'rounded'. Does that answer your question?

I sent it back to Tippmann, they can't do anything with it.

I really could use some advice.

Maybe the size of tap?
I could have one of my guys do it here.

Thanks,
R

Take an old junker tank, and thread it in an out with some toothpaste (mild abrasive / lubricant), see if that helps. Might just need the powdercoating worn down a tad or something.

Or have one of these guys run a tap

I can send you the tap to do it and then you can send it back when you are finished if you like. It is only $2-3 for shipping. PM me if you need it.
