Rethreading a new sterling valve

I just picked up one of the new STP SC Sterlings off someone here. I love it. But i have heard NUMEROUS complaints about the fittings being leaky on them and them constantly going down.

Well i want to get normal 1/8 NPT fittings on the valve if possible. I was wondering if someone could do the work for me. I have a 1/8 NPT tap already, but i doubt i could do the job without totally FUBARing the threads that are already in there. I am a monkey when it comes to working with tools and such, don't trust me with anything but an allen wrench, honestly.

Anyone up to the task? I only need the valve rethreaded, i will run it from the bottom line with a normal ASA once the valve is redone

i was tempted to ask about getting something like this done

It looks great, i think Rainman did it. But i don't really want to run it off the VA, as 13 CI tanks are mad long as is ( i rarely ever use 12 grams), and i already find it making my Buzzard really tall.

edit: just found these on Ebay, Spyder Metric to 1/8in NPT Adapter . Could i use either this one or this one and not need to rethread the valve??
