well im buying a small mill for the house so i dont have the 1 hour drive to use one so im looking at turning a few out by hand

stared a prototype this done on as a concept so take it as so the finished product will be much better this is also not completed

Although it seems slightly thicker than I anticipated (maybe the initial drawings led me to that conclusion), but the overall general result looks real good ! I'm imatient to see the next stages !

The original design shows ball slots.
Are you planning to make them like as in the cad design, or are you still planning to do them as you originally intended?

it's just a really rough version. it's longer than planned, the slope on the front is off, no holes are drilled, etc
