Dry firing the gun it cycles perfect.If you one balled it one shot would be 280 , the next would roll out or shoot like 100fps. When he shot it fast it hard major shoot down.

That's a bit different than what he described in the first post. Reg / flow issue sounds more like what you describe. My 700s always seemed much happier on Co2.

For the reg, a LP female stab could work. I'm trying to remember my last conversation with PPS about it. I think they suggested different springing for a more reliable 0-150 PSI range. Before going that route, I'd suggest just rebuilding the internal one. They're not that complicated and always seemed to work pretty well.

Casey elaborated a bit more than I did; I was posting from my phone and I'd had a few.

It did this on both hpa and co2. Misbehaved with both.

I'll try pulling the reg and seeing how it's looking inside.

Thanks for that! I'd seen it in the past but had forgotten about it. That'll be helpful when I open it up.

One thing- Casey's Nova doesn't have the 3rd O-ring here, mine does:

It's the one closest to the breech end.
His works just fine without it. Took mine off, no difference.

Not sure why I don't have a third o-ring. If I have a .689 ball or bigger my gun shoots 280 on HPA with zero problems.

It seams like a common problem on the novas. I just had to buy that ring for mine you can get them cheap from the oring store.
