Custom nova 700 barrel

If anyone is interested in a custom barrel by palmers post here I am planning on sending them my gun to get a barrel made. Maybe if we have enough people we can get a nice price on them. I called them today and they said between 150 and 200 but maybe we can get a better deal if they make multiples. Throw up your ideas on it. I am thinking about porting under the shroud.

So are they making the entire barrel? The housing and barrel insert and spring?

I'm gonna see if they could just make the barrel we would need to swap the spring and shroud.

I have already suggested to see if the barrel may be able to be freak compatible (to me this is #1 as paint varies so much now)

would it be cheaper to have the guys that are making brass guns make new barrels?

Yesterday I called the secretary and she told me I could send my barrel to them and they could make a new one. I called up there today to make sure I could and got this reponse so i guess back to the drawing board... sorry guys. Anyone know of some custom shops?

I just made it happen... I found recall information on this gun from Warpig Site! My gun is after the recall and he agreed to make me some barrels. How this would work is I buy barrels from the supplier (they will not have any warranty) and you buy them from me with NO WARRANTY. I will not make any money off of the barrels.

For me to get the barrels made I will require a payment from paypal so I can pay the supplier. I am going to send my gun off next week, when they get it they will let me know a price and I will let yall know.

I do not believe a freak insert kit wiould be possible due to the spring set up on our guns. I would still like some input on the barrels such as a prefered length and type of porting.

I thought this too, but didn't know if it might be possible. Maybe a smaller bore is the answer then (like a. 679?). I would think 14" would be the optimal but no longer than a 16"
