Ok took out the reg housing and spool, all the o-rings look happy. I'm guessing it's part of the trigger assembly. I'm going to open that up tonight and see how much fun I can have there.

Sounds like fun! All the spool orings on yours are fresh, I don't believe I rebuilt anything in the trigger frame.

Ok I got the trigger and pin out the front, and there looks to be a brass housing thingy where the trigger pin fits. I'm stuck now. How do I get the rest of the stuff out? Is there a Nova exploded-view diagram anywhere?

Behind where the trigger was there's double set screw that holds the brass collar in. Take out the top screw then the one under it. Get the collar out and the valve and pressure release will come out behind it.

I can e-mail a copy of the owners manual if you can't find one online.

Ok got it all apart, the o-rings on the trigger bits look just fine. Maybe there was a gremlin inside or something. I'll put it back together and see if it accidentaly works fine now.

Thanks for that link, bsm. I'd seen that before but forgot all about it.

Why didn't anyone tell me my links are dead? I was wondering why you didn't just download it from my post.....

It could also have been a trigger alignment issue, if the brass sleeve moves it will act pretty stupid.

Actually I think I told you that your link was dead awhile back.

The brass sleeve was held in place pretty well, so I doubt it was moving.
