Ok now it's being sooper-dooper stoopid. I got the trigger assembly all apart, everything looked fine. I greased it all up with 'Shocker lube' and put it back together. Now it shoots and cycles fine, but there's a little leak coming from the rear slot and the rear mounting hole, the one you can see the spring thru. I took it apart again and re-assembled, still leaks. I'll open the biatch back up tonight and see what else I can do. One question-when I go to tighten the set screw on the brass collar behind the trigger, should I push it back against the spring tension the 2mm till it stops, then tighten, or just so it's resting against the spring? Oh and Avery, I was on the phone with a client when I saw you'd sigged me. I busted out laughing then had to apologize.

Leaking from the rear slot & hole would be the oring on the relief piston. Little urethane bugger, -010 maybe? When putting the brass ring in I *think* it stick out about 1/8 of an inch. Doesn't matter how you do it as long as the distance is right. Only thing you should have to put pressure on is when you are putting the trigger back on the rod. I hold the trigger and use an allen to push the rod all the way into the trigger. Then yo can adjust the brass collar based on where it fires. At this point I generally have the trigger guard and safety in. Then when she's gassed up put the safety on and loosen the set screw. The bras spacer will move forward as far as it can and the gun will fire. Pull the trigger a tiny bit more (maybe 50 thousandths of an inch, just a small gap) and tighten the set screw. It should be good at this point. It's only fair, you almost made me spit my coffee when I read your reply :-) Avery |
