Supernova reg

I have a Supernova that is missing the reg. What's a decent replacement reg? I know a female stab with mount would be perfect but not sure I want to drop that much cash on one. I saw a PGI reg a while back but missed it. I've seen a few of the Tippmann regs that list as 0-800 PSI. Are these stable enough to be a viable reg for a nova?

Do not buy that reg.

It is meant to be used only with a tippmann 98 e-bolt (if I remember correctly). For other markers, it will only function as an ASA. There's a hole in the other side the runs a line to the e-bolt system, and it would need to be plugged.

You're probably going to need a female Stabilizer with a low-pressure kit, because the Novas run on some incredibly low PSI, like 75psi, or something.

Ah.. I did find a better description... "Has a small output hole for regulated gas and a 3/8in NPT hole for unregulated gas"

So...does anyone make a decent bottomline mount reg other than PPS?

How about one of the old Thor regulators, I understand they had different spring setups to change the output?

Lp max flows work. I've also seen lp stabilizers on novas.
No matter what reg you get it has to work in the 80 to 100 psi range.

I wonder if a rock witha larger output hose would work....

yeah, an old maxflow would work great for that application.

Tracker,
I thought about a vertical reg (I have a stab) and making a mount for it, but the Supernova's line in runs in the back where the velocity adjustment on the 700 is, not in the grip... just seems like excessive plumbing to me... but a question on that pic.. since the 700 had a built in reg, is that one dual regged or was the internal reg stripped out of it?

I'm trying to dig up a max flo. They were fairly co2 friendly correct? Or are they sensitive to liquid? If so, I'll probably just bite the bullet and get a lp female stab with mount or put my spare stab inline off of the tank...

the novas didn't have vert ASAs on them, that's a custom job I assume?
