Jan/Feb 2013 - finally finished this project. got a jig saw and made a thin tray. drill a bunch of holes so the fierce frame would fit. had to do a bunch of grinding to make a cavity for the noid since it sticks out about 1mm from the bottom of the body and i didn't want to crush the noid.

current setup -
- Magno'ed valve - removed valve spring and super glued magnets to end of plug and cup seal. will have to measure LPR
- Angel Cobra Fierce Frame - Predator board. make a JST to Molex adapter so I can flip back to WAS board and old set up if needed.
- Blue eyes

its beautiful, i wish the guy at tarantula had finished mine before he quit again..... now i have a half milled half not milled viking just sitting here.

How strong is the magnet? I would think it would need to be super strong to close fast enough to preserve efficiency. What fields do you play? Haven't seen too many AKA's around Georgia.

It look like your eyes are slightly off, but other then that, very nice.

I too would love to see the half finished vike. Is it like that half milled Evo? That things awesome.

that was a month of work.(+another week and a half shipping) (body only the frame was bought from here)

sent it to ?dc customs? (sorry it was a while ago) and got it milled for eyes, new style noid, and ALL hidden milling.. 2 week round trip including shipping both ways.

LPR is at 66 psi. can't remember the dwell. will get pressures and settings this weekend when i play.

I got them off ebay. "50 x super strong n35 1/4" diameter. 1/16" thick". Basically just took out the valve spring and superglued one on the cap and one on the cup seal to repel. doesn't take much force to open the valve. I suppose i can superglue a bunch together to reduce the distance and increase the strength.

Haven't really noted efficiency numbers.

I have only played at Paintball Atlanta the past few years. Close to my house so less change of falling asleep on the drive home.

maybe. I used DM4/Timmy eyes and i thought they would fit right... but it was pretty tight and the transmitter could be a bit skewed.

took another look earlier and the eyes didn't look like it is in the pic... looks like the transmitter is shining full on the receiver hole.



Bazr: sorry to hear about your viking. I think i lucked out and caught Marc at the right time. 1 month turnaround was awesome and i think he did quality work.
