Evil-M complete!

Figured I'd post this here.

Just got her back from ano yesterday and she's ALL DONE!

Well, almost. I forgot a tiny o-ring at work for the LPR, but everything else is set.

Thanks guys. The frame is from an FEP Quest as is the board. The body was all hand shaped by yours-truly, as were the eye covers. Standard internals (no RT), DC LPR. Ano was done by ATMF. I'll be getting a shooting video up soon hopefully.

Very cool, sadly so few of those Evil-M projects actually seem to make it to anno these days... Just one suggestion- get your bolt trimmed to match the back of the body, it really sticks out like a sore thumb poking out the back there...

Yeah, I've always wondered how many there are out there complete. And yes, I have already trimmed the bolt down, looks much better.

Got some playing time with the M this weekend. First time putting paint through it. (I've shot only reballs in testing). The gun worked great, far beyond my expectations. I shot over 3,500 rounds and only had one ball break. It was at the beginning of the day and I think it had to do more with the loader than a problem with the gun. I got close to a case off of 4000 psi. I really like how the gun is weighted, feels really nice and it's really easy to handle. It only weighs 5 or 6 ounces less than my '04 RollOut Viking, but it handles a bit differently. I didn't play with it, but I handled my friends '09 (I think) Ego, and compared to the M it seemed too light, like the tank was too heavy pulling it down in the back. I'm sure I'd be saying something different had I played with the Ego, but that was just my impression of it. Anyway, got a quick video of it shooting. I'm still working on my walking abilities and I think I need to adjust the trigger a bit to get it going a little better, but I love how it shoots.

Nice Ego 05 you have there. Sad, sad day when lawyers were brought into paintball and some designs ended up with other people.
