Excalibur - should I mill it?

So I picked up the excalibur below (03) off ebay with the sole purpose to mill it. I am just not shure if I should mill it now that it is in my hands. It is really nice as it sits, but is just asking me to trim the fat.

On the back of the tray where the switch is there is this little socket head bolt. I pulled it out, but it is a hole that goes to nothing. What is the purpose of it? I looked at some pics on google and see others that have it.

Mill it to enhance the full mill.

I think the hole is for the led? I've only messed with the 04's, so not sure.

I love half and full mill Excals. I say don't touch it. It's so purdy!

Edit: Maybe some hidden milling for weight savings?

I think milling a "full mill" excal is like punching eye holes in pre 2k classic autococker bodies.

Trade it for a bare bones no milled regular excal. If you're gonna mill it you're gonna anno it so why not start with plane jane one?

Here is how I had planned to mill it:

Front end around the reg and tray like my viking, lower tube like my viking. Upper tube, clean up around feed neck, cut the back off a little, but the cut will follow the angle of the already existing milling.

viking for refrence:

I'm not worried about hurting value. These arn't worth much anymore anyway. I wouldn't be selling it (unless I found an 04 for cheap to mill up).

Hidden milling if it really wants to lose weight.

I wouldn't do any cosmetic visual millings to it, then you'd have to re-ano over that nice marble green it already has.
