The things that piss me off:

"Viking was mid range"- 1000$ used, 300 for a body...doesn't seem midrange to me even now

"It was heavy"- What guns at that time weren't?

"It lacked ergonomics other guns had"- Maybe after 2008, but until then you mainly had 45 and 90 frames, similiar to it

"The second tube doesn't do anything"- then explain 2k+ shots on a 68 and one of the lowest operating pressures at the time.

"It is not competitive by todays standards"- its still one of the fastest, smoothest, consistent, effecient guns around. IT only has drawbacks in weight.

I could go on but I see no need

He obviously has a bad gun. I never put grease in the ram of my Viking in the 3 years that I owned and used it as my primary. I only used air tool oil on the ram shaft, hammer, bolt, and in the ASA. I would send him my Viking if I still had it.

Someone send him a good one to re-review it!
