| MCB Member | Ahhh, just joined the family!
I know that I'm one of several people who have done a "Im new to AKA" thread. I just bought an unmilled, and apparently otherwise unmolested 04 Viking. I'm going to devour the forum here and on kiddie nation before I start hammering with questions. If anyone wants to give advice, it is appreciated. The most notabel thing I have learned so far, is a few drops of oil in the asa, shoot shoot shoot, wash, rinse, repeat.

There's a lot of good information and good people in the AKA section of pbnation, don't kid yourself. A viking is a slinging machine. If set properly, you'll need 2 drops of oil in the ASA from time to time, and a lot of paint. Pretty much. And sometimes a refill of air. Welcome here and have fun. |

Besides a few drops of oil, and a fast loader full of paint, they occasionally want fresh batteries. If it ever starts acting up on you throwing a new battery in is the first thing to try.

04? eyes... yucky! Seriously though, I bought an 02 excal. Pulled apart the sidewinder and noticed that it still had the original everything inside. Cleaned it up, two drops of oil and threw down a case of paint over two weekends. it was +/- 5 at the chrony! insanely awesome tools for the job. I'll probably never part with it. |

| MCB Member | When she arrives, I'll post them up. It's on the way from Canadialand, so it could take a few days.
