Re-sale finally dropping?

I have noticed that the re-sale of aka guns is finally dropping after remaining pretty steady for the last 5+ years. Anyone else noticing this?

Yes, they are no longer the must have of the moment it seems, but I still like them.

I think it's understandable. Despite the collectability and cool factor, people can't help but compare them to newer guns, which are getting more efficient and lighter.

Prices dropped like since about 2 years. When people needs money, they will sell at a lower price. Seems to me that many sold that way to sell faster. Economy seems bad, people needs money. Every markers dropped in value.

I've noticed it on their electronic markers, but not on the Merlins they're still going for a pretty penny.

truth.

I just have the opportunity to buy 4 vikings/excal for a decent price and planned on un-loading 3 of them but I am not sure anymore.

This definitely isn't unique to AKA products.

AKA prices have held up better than others, but right now the market is being flooded. If someone is looking at buying a gun and can get an unmilled one for $400 or less they arent going to be as tempted to spend an extra $400 for milling. If someone has a nicely milled gun to sell they are going to have to drop their price to tempt people. That said I still think the rarer mills like the immortal, highlander, sam rhodes, etc. (guns that are no longer producible like the DC mills) are holding up a little better than others. But everything depreciates for the most part, and other companies are catching up.

For a couple years, a "big buyer" would pick up about 10 really nice ones and everyone wanted one...the last 2 years, values have been sliding...after a great run, newer electros are caughting up!

I have had 5-6 Vikings, loved everyone of them, wicked fast, nice feel, very accurate...now I have no electros!
